How it works
Nine steps, from meeting up to the finish line. What happens between the first drop and the last checkpoint is entirely up to you.

Get logged in
The organiser hands out login details. Log in before kick-off, have a read of the rules, and come with a full battery — the app is your map, your clue sheet and your scoreboard for the day.

Clock starts
You'll need to allow location services to play. Everyone meets at the start point, accepts the rules, and the first clue drops for every team at the same second.

Crack the clue
Every clue is a puzzle pointing at a real place. Argue about it, overthink it, get there. If one holds you too long, a hint unlocks on a timer so nobody stalls out.

Chase it down
Cracked it? Move. Navigate across the city to the spot on foot or by vehicle.

Scan in
Think you've found it? Scan on the app — QR code, barcode or a GPS check. Get it right and your next clue appears. Get it wrong and it's back to the clue.

Watch the board
The leaderboard updates live as teams solve. Track your position, see who's ahead, feel it tighten. This is the part that turns friends into rivals.

Keep it safe
Follow the road rules, cross carefully, park properly, and look after each other — the clock can wait.

Chase the win
Cross the last checkpoint and it's yours. First or last, you've raced your city and earned the right to talk about it for months. The game ends once every team finishes.
